Who We Are
Hey, this is Mark. I have been teaching filmmaking to undergraduates for the last eight years. I am known in the university not only for the theory I teach, but for the practicals I make my students do. I have always asked my students to keep making films on their own. I believe that no matter how much you read, there is no substitute to making a movie if you want to learn filmmaking. Making a movie, be it a short or a feature film will help you to get an insight into the field of filmmaking. What I feel is that making films is a very personal process. You discover it yourself while going through the entire process. However, making a film has never been a cakewalk. There are numerous obstacles that you need to overcome before you can see the final cut of your masterpiece. Out of all the difficulties, funding is the most common and prominent. In this blog, I have discussed various ways in which you can gather finance in order to make the movie that you always wanted to make!
